TX Logistik puts 40th Vectron locomotive into operation

TX Logistik has put into operation the last of a total of 40 new Vectron locomotives. The final commissioning took place at the end of 2025. The order for the locomotives was placed in 2023 with Siemens Mobility. With this investment, TX Logistik aims to phase out rental models and deploy its own fleet more flexibly in the market.

The first Vectron locomotives were delivered in September 2024. Since then, TX Logistik has reported that it has covered over five million kilometers in intermodal transport with these new locomotives. In total, TX Logistik’s fleet comprises 90 locomotives, which have collectively traveled approximately 13.5 million kilometers during this period.
