Feb 5, 2026 at 9:45 AMDr. Bao Mosinyi is the new General Manager of Air Botswana. The national airline of the southern African country has announced that he assumed his position on February 1, 2026.
Dr. Mosinyi brings extensive experience in aviation, engineering, and organizational leadership. He is a trained aerospace engineer and has over twenty years of experience in aviation regulation, airline operations, aircraft manufacturing, and leadership roles. His previous positions include senior roles in Botswana’s civil aviation sector as well as in international aviation and aerospace organizations.
Strategic Realignment of the Airline
The appointment of Dr. Mosinyi comes at a critical time for Air Botswana, which continues to focus on operational stability, service improvements, and long-term sustainability. These aspects are part of the national development priorities that the airline aims to support.
