Air freight volumes in Europe to rise in 2025
Feb 5, 2026 at 1:36 PMDIMOS has realigned its strategic course and is focusing on air cargo projects to respond to the increasing air freight volumes and the growing customer base. The company plans to scale its vehicle and system solutions to ensure higher throughput and stable processes. This realignment is based on positive feedback and successful references from the past.
Strategic Realignment towards Air Cargo
DIMOS is consolidating its activities in the areas of vehicles, systems, and services for air cargo projects. The focus is on the handling of ULDs (Unit Load Devices) both indoors and outdoors, as well as supporting express service providers and ramp areas. This decision was motivated by the experiences and successes of recent years and leverages the resources of the HUBTEX Group. The various phases of a project, from consulting to layout to commissioning and service, are now offered from a single source.
A central element of the new vehicle portfolio is the X-Way Mover. This multifunctional vehicle can take on various tasks depending on the configuration, including handling ULDs and operating shelves. In previous projects, the X-Way Mover has accelerated the handling of ULDs while simultaneously reducing space requirements and operating costs. The 360° steering allows for switching between longitudinal and transverse travel in tight spaces. Additionally, DIMOS offers variants for indoor and outdoor areas as well as different load capacities to respond flexibly to changing requirements.
Integrated Solutions for Efficient Processes
DIMOS pursues an end-to-end approach that combines mobile and stationary equipment with layout, control, and safety concepts. This approach aims to ensure that air freight processes are designed efficiently. The integration of recurring standards and clearly defined interfaces is intended to guarantee the quality and scalability of the solutions, regardless of whether they involve individual projects or the operation of multiple locations.
The company is investing in solutions that enable measurable efficiency improvements. These include the X-Way Mover as the core vehicle, as well as complementary stationary solutions such as ULD transfer and repositioning units and dock interfaces for truck docks. DIMOS aims to support operators with reliable and scalable vehicle and system solutions to guide them safely through growth phases and peak times.
