Oman Air Cargo appoints Gokul Sudamani

Oman Air Cargo has created a new leadership position with the appointment of Gokul Sudamani as Regional Head of Sales for the Middle East and Gulf. This position, based in Dubai, aims to support the company’s expansion in the region and enhance services for the freight forwarding community.

Gokul Sudamani brings over 18 years of experience in the air freight industry, specializing in various revenue-generating markets in the Middle East and Gulf. In his new role, he will work closely with customers and partners to drive Oman Air Cargo’s network and capacity investments. „Oman Air Cargo is gaining momentum, and I look forward to working closely with customers and partners in the region as we continue to expand our network and capabilities,“ Sudamani stated.

Sudamani’s appointment is part of a broader strategy by Oman Air Cargo aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in the region. Recently, several new routes, including to Singapore and Kigali, have been announced. Michael Duggan, Head of Cargo at Oman Air, emphasized the importance of the Middle East as a global transit hub and a growing target market. „This new role reflects our commitment to the region as we continue to expand our network,“ Duggan said.
