
Wexco and China Airlines extend partnership

Jan 23, 2026 at 8:03 AMSATS has announced a partnership with Zhejiang Airport Logistics Development Co., Ltd. aimed at strengthening collaboration in several key areas. The two companies intend to leverage their complementary strengths and shared visions to expand overseas air freight terminals, optimize air freight route capacity, and explore models for logistics data exchange.
The framework agreement was signed on January 16 by Bob Chi, CEO of APAC Gateway Services, and Chen Zhongyue, General Manager of Zhejiang Airport Logistics Development. Witnesses included Kerry Mok, President and CEO of SATS Ltd., and Wei Jiangen, Chairman and Party Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Airport Group.
Development of Air Freight Hubs
Zhejiang Airport Logistics Development has developed significant aviation hubs in the Yangtze River region, providing good connectivity from the industrial and commercial centers of the region to other parts of China as well as to international destinations. This infrastructure will serve as the foundation for the intended collaboration between the two companies.
Bob Chi commented on the partnership: “Our collaboration with Zhejiang Airport Logistics Development is an important step towards promoting industry development through resource sharing and synergies. We look forward to expanding our market presence by leveraging the robust aviation logistics network of Zhejiang Airport Logistics Development while deepening cooperation in cold chain storage and transport, jointly building an ecosystem for the food trade industry, and promoting talent exchange and training initiatives.”
The partnership between Zhejiang Airport Logistics Development Co., Ltd. and SATS Ltd. aims to create an innovative framework for synergistic growth and to advance the transformation and high-quality development of the air freight logistics sector.
