Rand will oversee the company’s operational and commercial activities in the automotive logistics sector. The appointment was announced on January 15, 2026.
Experience and Expertise
Matthew Satnick and Philippe De Montigny, the co-CEOs of Enstructure, expressed positive sentiments regarding Rand’s appointment. They emphasized that his extensive experience and commitment to service will help drive the company’s momentum and enhance the quality of logistics for finished vehicles. Rand brings comprehensive leadership experience from various sectors, including maritime logistics, rail transport, trucking, and specialty chemicals. Prior to his new position, he served as CEO of AMPORTS for over a decade and previously held a senior role at CSX Transportation Intermodal for ten years.
Rand himself stated that throughout his career, he has been drawn to organizations that combine innovation with efficiency and service. He looks forward to contributing to the next growth phase of Enstructure and collaborating with his colleagues George Molyneaux, Leo McFadden, and Lee Brown, who possess extensive industry knowledge.
Locations and Services
EAL currently operates logistics centers in Wilmington, Delaware, and Jacksonville, Florida. These facilities are equipped with specialized automotive infrastructure and provide ample storage capacity for vehicles directly at the dock. They serve as key distribution centers for access to the growing markets in the Southeast as well as in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
In 2025, EAL was selected to provide logistics services for finished vehicles for Mazda North America and Toyota Logistics Services at the Talleyrand Marine Terminal in JAXPORT. The Wilmington location has handled various export streams for automobiles and currently maintains a regular service with Grimaldi Lines.
Enstructure operates a network of port infrastructure assets on the East Coast, in the Gulf of Mexico, and in the inland river system of the United States. The company was founded in 2016 by Philippe De Montigny and Matthew Satnick and offers integrated logistics services to some of the largest companies in the fields of energy, agriculture, food, manufacturing, construction, and public safety.
