Jan 15, 2026 at 10:09 AMCitwell, a consulting firm specializing in the transformation of operations and supply chains, is expanding its expertise in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The goal is to support clients in the practical and operational integration of AI solutions into their business processes. In this context, the company has appointed Jack Abdo as the new head of AI activities. He will be part of the team led by Alexandre Boucharlat, a partner specializing in digital transformation.
Artificial Intelligence as a Strategic Tool
Artificial Intelligence is increasingly viewed as a strategic tool for companies. It optimizes core processes, improves efficiency in logistics, secures inventory management, and enhances the reliability of forecasts. According to Citwell, companies can achieve productivity gains of between 30% and 90% through the use of AI. Alexandre Boucharlat, partner for digital transformation and AI at Citwell, emphasizes: “AI fundamentally transforms all areas. Given the productivity demands from management and employee concerns, it becomes clear that a purely cost-reduction approach reaches its limits.”
In addition to increasing efficiency, AI also improves employee experience, enhances service quality, fosters innovation, and strengthens risk prevention. AI transformation projects require a comprehensive and structured approach based on leadership commitment and employee involvement. Citwell follows a roadmap that aligns with the strategic goals of companies and is supported by solid governance and a change management system.
Benefits of Combining Expertise and AI Competence
Citwell stands out through the combination of deep operational knowledge and solid AI expertise. This connection enables the identification of effective use cases, measurement of their value, and ensures implementation and acceptance among employees. The company also provides its clients with a structured reference model for use cases that facilitates the prioritization and rapid implementation of high-value AI projects.
The structured approach includes several steps: from raising awareness of AI through training to identifying and prioritizing use cases, developing roadmaps for business and technology projects, and defining governance structures.
Jack Abdo Takes on a Central Role
Jack Abdo will support companies within the AI team in defining and implementing their AI strategy. He ensures that each project is carried out responsibly and in alignment with business goals. He accompanies the entire process, from assessing AI potential to change management, to ensure sustainable and coherent integration of AI initiatives into the company’s digital transformation programs.
“The prioritization of AI use cases must consider not only economic criteria but also strategic, ethical, and human aspects. AI governance is necessary to ensure alignment with corporate priorities and to secure the success of projects,” explains Jack Abdo, AI expert at Citwell.
Abdo brings over ten years of experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence. He joined the company in November 2025 and previously worked at EY, where he explored the opportunities of generative AI for various business areas. At Danone, he led an international team of data scientists and initiated several innovative projects. He also served as Managing Director at Snext, a start-up specializing in optimizing supply chains through AI, and developed solutions for inventory optimization and forecasting for industrial clients.
