The Geis Group opened a new location for its subsidiary Geis Air + Sea GmbH in Mönchengladbach on January 1, 2026. With this branch, the company aims to expand its presence in North Rhine-Westphalia and enhance its international capacities.
Experience at the New Location
The branch is managed by a four-member team led by Marek Wetjen. Wetjen brings experience from the logistics industry, which he gained, among other positions, as branch manager and authorized signatory at Logwin, and most recently as managing director of Gate41 Logistics GmbH & Co. KG. “Together with our dedicated team on-site and in close coordination with management, we will establish and consistently develop the Mönchengladbach location,” Wetjen explains. He emphasizes that the close collaboration within Geis Air + Sea will help leverage synergies and create sustainable growth.
