Dreier AG expands electric truck fleet
Jan 6, 2026 at 3:39 PMDavies Turner expands its fleet of Krone mega trailers to strengthen trade routes between the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Morocco, the company reports. This investment increases the number of trailers specifically deployed for Moroccan services to a total of 35 units. According to the company, this measure reflects the rising demand in the fashion, retail, and automotive sectors.
The new trailers are equipped with steel walls, roofs, and doors designed to provide protection against break-ins and unauthorized access. Additionally, all trailers feature GPS satellite tracking and remote door monitoring systems, ensuring real-time surveillance and security during the transport process.
Davies Turner has reported a significant uptick in fashion trade between the United Kingdom and Morocco, as well as an increase in automotive components. The expanded fleet will support daily full-load transports and grouping options available from Thursday to Saturday for imports and exports. The standard transit time between Morocco and the United Kingdom or Ireland is 4 to 5 days, according to Davies Turner. Express services reduce this time by 24 hours, while fast van transport solutions enable delivery in just 72 hours, the company states.
