Dec 19, 2025 at 10:08 AMNoatum Ports and Al Dahra Agriculture signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Cairo on December 19, 2025, aimed at improving the logistics infrastructure in Egypt. This agreement is intended to strengthen the country’s position as a regional trade and supply hub.
Joint Investments to Strengthen Logistics
As part of the MoU, Noatum Ports and Al Dahra Agriculture plan to explore investment and development opportunities through the Safaga Terminal. This initiative aims to support Egypt’s logistics ecosystem, particularly in the areas of agriculture and trade. The partnership seeks to address the growing demand for efficient, technology-driven solutions in the supply chain.
The collaboration includes the provision of logistics services, encompassing storage, customs clearance, and the digitization of the supply chain. The goal is to optimize agricultural supply chains, enhance food security, and promote sustainable growth in the rapidly developing regions of Egypt, especially in the east and south of the country.
AbdulAziz Al Balooshi, Regional CEO Africa & Asia at Noatum Ports, emphasized the importance of this collaboration: “This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing Egypt’s logistics ecosystem and supporting growth in key industrial and agricultural sectors.
