Media Markt Schweiz AG expands its vehicle fleet with nine new Renault Master Red Edition L3H3. These vehicles, acquired through Renault Trucks Schweiz, will be used in daily home delivery and assembly services, replacing the existing fleet that has relied on Renault Trucks for years.
New Fleet for Efficient Delivery Processes
Media Markt Schweiz AG, based in Dietikon, is one of the leading providers in the consumer electronics sector. The company offers a wide range of electronic devices and specializes in nationwide home deliveries as well as professional installations of large household appliances. The new Renault Master Red Edition L3H3 are equipped with a 150-horsepower diesel engine and a manual 6-speed transmission. The wheelbase measures 4,215 mm.
The interior of the vehicles has been optimized by Sortimo Schweiz AG to meet the demands of home delivery operations. The cargo area features aluminum side walls, multiple lashing rails for secure load securing, and a folding ramp at the rear. This equipment allows for the efficient transport of heavy or bulky devices using a trolley. The vehicles are thus particularly suitable for high daily utilization and demanding delivery processes.
Media Markt teams operate in pairs and cover approximately 60,000 kilometers per vehicle annually. Due to the proven reliability, robustness, and cost-effectiveness of the previous Renault vehicles, the company has once again chosen this brand.
