After more than two decades, Mr. Roland Futterer is retiring, having significantly shaped the development of GRIESHABER Logistik GmbH. At the same time, Mr. Sven Kronenberg will take over the role of Chairman of the Management Board on December 1, 2025.
(Weingarten) “We thank Mr. Futterer for his extraordinary commitment and his contributions to the development of the company,” explains Gabriele Grieshaber, board member of the Gabriele and Heinrich Grieshaber Foundation.
With Mr. Sven Kronenberg, GRIESHABER Logistik GmbH gains an experienced manager with extensive expertise in the international trade and logistics sector. He will be responsible for the areas of finance, human resources, and IT, and will form the management board together with Mr. Ralf Heersma-Plattner and Mr. Gregor Schnell.

Together with the team, I want to further optimize processes and promote data-driven decisions to increase efficiency and transparency. This way, we not only ensure quality but also shape the future of logistics sustainably and collaboratively,” says Sven Kronenberg, the designated Chairman of the Management Board.
A new chapter begins with the change
Hansjörg Zelger, board member of the Grieshaber Foundation and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GRIESHABER Logistik GmbH, emphasizes: “With the change in management, a new chapter begins that builds on a strong foundation. We are convinced that Mr. Kronenberg will continue the values and strategic direction of the GRIESHABER Group and enrich it with strategic approaches for digital transformation.”
