Oct 18, 2025 at 7:35 PMDHL Parcel will increase prices for business customers starting January 1, 2026. Business customers will be individually informed about the new prices applicable to them. The price increase is necessary due to rising personnel costs, among other reasons. DHL consistently invests in good working conditions and pays attractive collective wages.
(Bonn) Unlike the vast majority of competitors in the German parcel market, DHL relies almost exclusively on employees who are directly employed by the company and subject to social security contributions. Approximately 116,000 delivery personnel are employed under collective agreements, and around 98 percent of DHL parcels are delivered by its own delivery staff.
In addition, the company is consistently investing in the continuous expansion and modernization of its infrastructure, as well as further decarbonization of the transport network, for example, through the increasing electrification of the delivery fleet. By 2030, DHL will expand its network of parcel and postal stations from currently over 16,500 to 30,000. Parcel machines are highly appreciated by customers as they offer great flexibility, are available around the clock, and are located in central public areas.
National and International
The price increases apply to national and international DHL parcel shipping for business customers and do not affect the DHL Express business or DHL parcel shipping by private customers.
