Together with Miguel Suárez, the main shareholder of the traditional family business Grupo Tafatrans, a strong partnership is formed. With the new national company, Emons strengthens its presence on the Iberian Peninsula and lays the foundation for even more efficient solutions across Europe.
(Köln) The joint venture was established together with Miguel Suárez, the main shareholder of the Spanish family business Grupo Tafatrans. As a strategic partner, Tafatrans brings extensive market experience of nearly five decades. The service portfolio of the Pamplona-based company, which employs more than 100 people, includes comprehensive general cargo system transports in Spain, partial and full loads with a fleet of over 70 trucks, as well as warehousing and logistical services.
“With our own national company in Spain, we are marking an important milestone in the development of our European network,” explains Ralf Wieland, CEO of Emons.
Continuing international orientation
Arne Lingemann, Managing Director International, adds: “Together with Miguel Suárez and the strategic partnership with Tafatrans, we are creating the foundation to offer our customers in Spain and the rest of Europe even more tailored and efficient logistics solutions.” With this step, Emons is consistently continuing its internationalization strategy. Today, the company is already active with 125 locations in 17 countries.
