Aug 31, 2025 at 6:32 PMFollowing the successful completion of the acquisition of Schenker by DSV on April 30, 2025, the companies DSV and DB Schenker will officially operate as a joint entity under the name and brand DSV in Switzerland starting September 1, 2025. It was the Swiss Gottfried Schenker who founded Schenker & Co. AG in Vienna in 1872.
(Pratteln/Eiken) DSV will consist of two legal entities in Switzerland: DSV Air & Sea AG, led by Mr. Dominik Wiesler, and DSV Logistics SA, led by Mr. Martin Brunner. Additionally, there will be a dedicated division for contract logistics as part of DSV Logistics SA, which will be managed by Mr. Marc Grosse.
In total, more than 1,100 employees at 17 locations in Switzerland are now part of DSV. This integration positions DSV as one of the leading providers of logistics and transport services in Switzerland.
