SSI Schäfer connects WAMAS Lift & Store with SSI LOGIMAT
Aug 30, 2025 at 2:45 PMAs a reliable partner for logistics solutions, the L.I.T. Group from Brake (Unterweser) took over the organization and execution of another aid transport from the city of Brake to its Ukrainian partner city Schazk. The transport, which safely arrived in the northwest of Ukraine on August 26, 2025, was realized in close collaboration between the L.I.T. Group and the city of Brake and represents the third successful aid mission of this kind.
In a tractor-trailer with a special trailer, school furniture for three classrooms, five playground equipment, three smartboards, and 78 tablets for students were transported, among other items. The delivery was supplemented by a mobile power generator, which, with a capacity of 100 KV/A, makes an important contribution to securing the energy supply in the region.
Michael Kurz, the mayor of the city of Brake, emphasizes: “I am very grateful to the L.I.T. Group for their support. It shows that cooperation and mutual support in our city works excellently. Without the support of L.I.T., the transport of the aid goods to our partner city would not have gone so smoothly!”
In the past, the city of Brake had organized aid transports to Schazk, including the delivery of a fire truck, emergency clothing, a school bus, and equipment for the municipal yard. The current delivery was made possible through a funding program of the federal government, represented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The city took over the organization of the transport, with the L.I.T. Group once again proving to be a strong partner in the implementation.
Social Responsibility as a Logistics Service Provider
“As a transport and logistics service provider, we bear social responsibility beyond our economic activities. Supporting the city of Brake in this important project was a matter of course for us. We are pleased to be able to contribute to promoting education and infrastructure in the partner city of Schazk,” says Simeon Breuer, a board member of the L.I.T. Group.
