Coop Chooses BinMan Solution from Logsol for Container Management
Aug 21, 2025 at 7:25 PMGarbe Industrial has rented a logistics area of approximately 11,600 square meters in Lensahn (district of Ostholstein) to the Kiel-based start-up Dieseo. The e-commerce company focuses on marketing and selling comfortable shoes and will use the new location for the storage and shipping of its fashion items.
(Hamburg/Lehnsan) Behind the start-up Dieseo is the shoe brand “Pammys,” which is well-known from social media and now has more than 700,000 customers. “Our shipping warehouse in Kiel is no longer sufficient. As we continue to grow strongly and want to expand our product range in the near future, we need to increase our capacities,” says Fatbardh Pakashtica, CEO of Dieseo: “Both the property and the location in Lensahn convinced us.”
The logistics center, with a total area of about 23,400 square meters, was completed at the end of 2023 and consists of two units. One of them has been leased long-term to Dieseo. The other half is still available and is currently being marketed. “We are very pleased with the ESG lease concluded with Dieseo. With the rental of 50 percent of the area, the project reaches an important milestone, and the location concept is thus being successfully implemented,” emphasizes Tobias Roloff, Asset Manager at Garbe Industrial. “The location offers ideal conditions for companies looking for efficient logistics solutions. This is also reflected in the previous rentals.”
Fehmarnbelt Tunnel nearby
Lensahn is located about 50 kilometers north of Lübeck and approximately 80 kilometers east of the state capital Kiel. The A 1 highway runs in close proximity to the logistics center, connecting the location northward with the Fehmarnsund Bridge and southward with Hamburg and, further on, with Bremen and the Ruhr area. The Lensahn interchange is about 600 meters away and can be reached without passing through the town. The Fehmarnbelt Tunnel between Puttgarden and the Danish island of Lolland is expected to open in 2029. This underground connection to Denmark will significantly shorten travel times.
“The entire tunnel hinterland will benefit from this. That is why Garbe Industrial decided early on for this location,” says Tobias Roloff. According to the Asset Manager, the still available space in the new building is particularly suitable for logistics services due to the unrestricted 24/7 usage and offers potential for international trade with Scandinavia.
According to the latest gold standards
The property is equipped with 20 loading bridges and six ground-level sectional doors for loading and unloading trucks. A total of 44 parking spaces for cars are available on the outdoor area. A photovoltaic system with a capacity of 2.9 megawatts peak is installed on the roof. The new building is heated using a heat pump system, allowing the property to operate without the use of fossil energy sources. The property is certified according to the gold standard of the German Sustainable Building Council.
