Rail-Flow and Simply Deliver Merge

Rail-Flow GmbH, Europe’s leading provider of digital solutions for rail and intermodal logistics, proudly announces the formal merger of its long-standing technology and sales partner Simply Deliver B.V. into the Rail-Flow Group. This strategic step marks a significant milestone on the path to providing seamless digital logistics solutions across Europe.

(Frankfurt/Rotterdam) Rail-Flow and Simply Deliver have been working closely together for years – particularly in the intermodal sector, where their complementary products can be ideally combined to manage logistics processes from the first to the last mile. The integration of Simply Deliver into the Rail-Flow Group is the next logical step. This allows us to unify our offerings, scale our development resources, and provide even greater value to our customers – also in terms of CO2 reduction and promoting modal shifts.

Simply Deliver, headquartered in Rotterdam, will continue to operate as an independent brand within the Rail-Flow Group. The focus remains unchanged on visibility, automation, and customer portals for road-based logistics – particularly in the Benelux region. At the same time, the merger of both companies allows them to pool their respective strengths and expertise to create a unique digital ecosystem for rail, road, and intermodal transport.

A central highlight of this merger is the integration of Rail-Flow’s Rail TMS with Simply Deliver’s Intermodal TMS into a unified product. This new solution enables customers to seamlessly manage both pure rail transports and intermodal transport chains – utilizing the best features of both platforms. Customers benefit from enhanced process coverage, real-time visibility, advanced automation, and a modular approach that flexibly adapts to their individual needs.

All existing teams and locations – including Frankfurt, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Izmir, Manila, and Brisbane – will remain fully operational. The group will be led by a unified management team: Dominik Fürste and Osman Akdemir as Co-CEOs, Marcel Hoecke as Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Alexander Below as Chief Product Officer, Pablo Girardi as Chief Technology Officer, and Frank Erftemeijer as Partner. This joint leadership structure ensures a consistent strategy and implementation across all brands and markets.
