With the start of the new training year in September 2025, the company will introduce a new apprenticeship: the previous apprenticeship “Local and Distribution Logistics” will be modernized into “Mail and Parcel Logistics.”
(Wien) With specializations in distribution and logistics centers, the entire process chain of parcel delivery – particularly the so-called “last mile” – is coming into sharper focus. The training combines technical know-how with organizational skills and opens up diverse career paths within the company. Whether attractive benefits through its own platform “goodie”, meal vouchers, the opportunity for an apprenticeship with a high school diploma, or financing for a driver’s license after completing the apprenticeship – the Post is a secure, versatile, and future-oriented employer for young talents.

We are specifically investing in the next generation of our logistics experts and offering a wide selection of eight different apprenticeships to cater to individual interests.”
Modern Training for Tomorrow’s Logistics
The specialization in distribution includes delivery, route planning, complaint management, and administrative tasks. The focus on logistics centers centers around sorting processes, parcel acceptance, conveyor technology, and further processing. Both focuses increasingly involve organizational activities such as personnel deployment planning, quality management, and project work – opening up diverse career paths, such as in team coordination or as deputy site management.
Diverse Apprenticeships with a Secure Employer
Currently, around 250 apprentices are undergoing training in one of eight exciting apprenticeships. In the in-house “Apprentice Academy”, personal strengths are promoted and perspectives opened up through practical, individualized seminars. For the upcoming apprenticeship start in September 2025, only a few positions are still available. In addition to practical training, the Post stands out with strong benefits: there is the possibility of an apprenticeship with a high school diploma, and the Post finances the driver’s license for all who stay in the company for two years after completing their training.
