(Horstmar) The new service van concept from Schmitz Cargobull represents an innovative solution to significantly improve service quality and customer proximity in the market. This mobile service offering is implemented either through an expanded network of existing service partners or through independent sole proprietors organized on the basis of a franchise concept. Additionally, Schmitz Cargobull supports franchisees with a variety of services, including IT, processing, invoicing, and delivery.
Qualified professionals, such as Hatip Olcay, service and refrigeration specialist who operates the first Schmitz Cargobull service van, ensure quick and reliable execution of all work for trailers, refrigeration units, and tires, using only Schmitz Cargobull qualified spare parts, i.e., original spare parts as well as certified “Value Parts.” With the Schmitz Cargobull Value Parts, the trailer manufacturer offers a cost-effective spare parts program for the value-appropriate repair of vehicles.

The mobile service offering includes breakdown service, inspection, maintenance, repair, retrofitting, as well as technical support and training on-site for customers and service partners. The product range includes both the refrigeration unit and the trailer for Schmitz Cargobull vehicles and third-party brands, including telematics.
Improving Service Quality Through Closer Proximity
The rollout of the concept will take place over a period of three to four years in several phases. In the pilot phase, Schmitz Cargobull will start in Germany and then expand the offering to two to three regions in different countries with additional vans. A central goal of the project is to improve service quality in the market through closer proximity to customers and service workshops and even greater flexibility. This quality is ensured by direct implementation on-site.
