Jun 19, 2025 at 3:56 PMThe University of St. Gallen (PSCM-HSG) and the OST Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences are jointly launching the Supply Chain Excellence Masterclass for the first time, a practice-oriented training series for specialists and executives in the field of Supply Chain Management.
(St. Gallen) The intensive seminars consist of four compact modules of two days each, focusing on state-of-the-art supply chain strategies, efficiency enhancement, resilience, and digitalization. A mix of interactive workshops, keynote speeches, and fireside chats with experts from academia and practice ensures an immediately applicable connection to professional reality. Participants receive a joint certificate from both universities.
The seminar series integrates scientifically based SCM fundamentals in conjunction with modern tools and technologies to optimally design and operate the supply chain. The program’s focus areas include supply chain strategy, supply chain efficiency, supply chain risk and resilience management, and supply chain digitalization.
Participants will learn about various tools and approaches in a practice-oriented setting to systematically and demand-oriented balance the triad of delivery capability, efficiency, and capital commitment, while bringing innovation impulses into the supply chain.
Through a mix of workshops and interactive keynote presentations with distinguished supply chain experts from academia and practice, it is ensured that the insights provided are scientifically grounded and practically relevant. Fireside chats with high-profile supply chain practitioners on the first day of each seminar block also offer the opportunity to expand your professional network.
The target group is specialists and executives
The target group consists of specialists and executives who wish to complement classic SCM approaches with innovative technologies and strategies. An advanced CAS Supply Chain Excellence (HSG/OST) is currently in planning. The four-part Masterclass training series is creditable towards this potential new CAS program.
