CTL and pfenning Group Enter Partnership of Synergies

The Cargo Trans Logistik AG (CTL) and the pfenning Group are entering a forward-looking partnership: The Heddesheim-based full-service provider for supply chain solutions will become a new network partner of CTL AG, gaining full access to its pan-European general cargo network.

(Homberg/Heddesheim) In return, the Homberg logistics network benefits from the pfenning Group’s long-standing expertise in warehousing and contract logistics – a cooperation that creates new synergies and sustainably strengthens the performance of both partners.

“By linking our general cargo network with the warehousing and contract logistics expertise of the pfenning Group, we create seamless, flexible solutions along the entire supply chain,” says Francesco De Lauso, CEO of CTL AG. A central goal of the partnership is to further increase the strategic utilization of the general cargo network while integrating new services in the area of warehousing. Until now, CTL has relied on project-based collaboration in this segment. “General cargo logistics thrives on interconnected structures and intelligent interfaces,” De Lauso explains. “The partnership with the pfenning Group creates real synergies that benefit our network partners and their customers.”

Strategic Cooperation Opens New Logistics Potentials

The pfenning Group strategically expands its service portfolio in the area of general cargo logistics through its collaboration with CTL AG and gains access to an established, Europe-wide operating network. Through cooperation with 30 international partners in as many European countries, the general cargo cooperation from Homberg covers the entire European area. This enables network partners to offer transport to strategically important regions with attractive transit times and conditions.
