Jun 11, 2025 at 5:32 PMHellmann Worldwide Logistics continues the global expansion of its digital express solution HEX (Hellmann Express Airfreight) and will launch in the USA and Canada at the end of June. HEX is an innovative platform for international door-to-door express shipping that centrally consolidates shipments through leading courier networks.
(Osnabrück) Unlike traditional combined transport solutions involving air and road transport, HEX focuses on intelligent digital networking. The platform simplifies and optimizes access to global express networks – efficiently, transparently, and user-friendly. This offering is particularly interesting for imports into the USA, considering the current US customs policy, as the express carriers also handle customs clearance.
HEX is specifically aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises that regularly process national and international express shipments. The platform enables these companies to access globally negotiated terms without the need for individual contracts with courier, express, and parcel service providers (CEP). The technical foundation of the solution was developed in collaboration with the logistics software provider Shipsy. It includes features for real-time shipment tracking, detailed analyses, and efficient processing of bookings and invoices through a central digital user interface.
More regions to be added in the fall
In the second half of the year, HEX will be rolled out not only in additional American countries but also in numerous markets in the APAC, IMEA, and Europe regions. Following its successful establishment in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, Hellmann is taking another strategic step to offer innovative and customer-oriented logistics solutions worldwide. The goal is to offer the product in around 50 countries by the end of 2026.
