L.I.T. Group Acquires Grüßing Group

The L.I.T. Group is consistently continuing its strategic growth path: Retroactively effective from January 1, 2025, the internationally active logistics service provider has acquired Grüßing Logistik GmbH and Grüßing Spedition GmbH based in Westerstede/Moorburg. With this acquisition, the L.I.T. Group is specifically strengthening its service and customer portfolio and enhancing its competencies in specialized transport solutions.

(Brake/Westerstede) As part of the transaction, the Grüßing Group was accompanied by TransCare GmbH. The internationally active consulting company, focusing on transport, logistics, and mobility, supported the company transfer as an M&A advisor. Under the leadership of Managing Director Ralf Jahnke, TransCare contributed its extensive transaction experience to the process, making a significant contribution to the successful implementation.

“The integration of the Grüßing Group is a logical step in our strategic development. This allows us to tap into new customer segments, strengthen our network, and expand our portfolio with specialized logistics services,” says Simeon Breuer, board member of the L.I.T. Group. “At the same time, we are focusing on continuity: the locations will remain, the management will stay on board – and the established customer relationships will continue within the known quality framework.”

Succession with Perspective

The acquisition is the result of a structured succession process on the part of the Grüßing Group. The goal was to ensure stability and development opportunities for customers, employees, and partners. “With L.I.T., we have found a strong partner who shares our values and offers our long-standing customers perspectives – with expanded capacities, digital solutions, and a Europe-wide network,” explains Stefan Grüßing, Managing Director of the Grüßing Group.

Grüßing Brand Remains Intact

The Grüßing Group will remain as a brand and will continue to operate under its own name. The focus of the collaboration is on the targeted use of shared synergies as well as the expansion of individual customer solutions. In addition to transport and warehousing logistics, Grüßing brings special expertise in seasonally influenced plant logistics – an area that will be systematically further developed in the future.
