May 4, 2025 at 8:32 PMThe new special “transport logistic + air cargo Europe 2025” is now online. The joint special edition of the ITJ International Transport Journal and Loginfo24, both part of the Logismedia Group, is published about a month before the start of the world’s leading logistics fair in Munich – and compactly shows which topics are currently occupying the logistics industry. All links and advertisements can be opened directly from the E-paper.
(Basel/Munich) Many topics are currently concerning the logistics industry. There has been plenty of writing about sustainability and the shortage of skilled workers, which is currently less acute than before, but this comes to light in the conversation with Dr. Robert Schönberger. Artificial intelligence is also often discussed, but it is still just at the beginning of its possibilities. 3D printing or quantum algorithms are not yet in focus, but are rapidly gaining importance.
Summary of the content
Dr. Robert Schönberger, head of transport logistic and air cargo Europe, speaks in an interview about the role of the fair as a trendsetter for the industry, about megatrends such as AI, sustainable transport solutions, and nearshoring – and about a new fair format with twelve halls and a full outdoor area for the first time.
Further topics include the opportunities and challenges posed by 3D printing – with a dedicated expert forum on June 4 by Logismedia on this subject – as well as a simple practical example of the use of artificial intelligence in hazardous goods logistics from DHN.digital with the logistics service provider Cretschmar.
Generational change and integrated supply chains
Saco Shipping provides insights into the realignment and generational change at the top of the company. Blue Yonder presents its latest solutions for integrated supply chains and sustainable transport management, naming three reasons why a visit to the digital company’s booth is worthwhile.
The European Institute for Pharma Logistics Services (EIPL) presents comprehensive GDP services, specifically for medium-sized pharmaceutical logistics companies. Current challenges such as cybersecurity or the role of quantum computing in logistics are also highlighted – including contributions from Maurice Teltscher (Inventry) and Rainer Stawarz (K&S Informatik).
The Club of Logistics contributes to the conference program with two high-profile panels discussing the future of the European logistics mid-market and the consequences of geopolitical tensions.
Available at the fair also as a print version
During the fair, the special (also in English), along with other magazines, can be picked up at the Logismedia Group AG booth in Hall 3/Stand 300 as a print edition.
