Fiege in Peine Takes Over Fulfillment for Hisense Gorenje Germany

The Fiege Group will henceforth be responsible for the fulfillment and distribution for Hisense Gorenje Germany. The new business will be handled by the Greven logistics service provider at its location in Peine. In the Hannover-Braunschweig-Göttingen-Wolfsburg metropolitan region, 35,000 square meters of logistics space are available for the international technology company.

(Greven/Peine) Fiege is the new logistics partner of Hisense Gorenje Germany. As one of two service providers in Germany, the contract logistics expert will manage the handling of white and brown goods for Hisense Gorenje, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of household appliances and consumer electronics, at its location in Peine, Lower Saxony. In addition to warehousing, Fiege will also provide value-added services and returns management as well as distribution in Germany over approximately 35,000 square meters.

The modern location in Peine, where Fiege has set up the business for Hisense Gorenje, is strategically located in the heart of the Hannover-Braunschweig-Göttingen-Wolfsburg metropolitan region and offers significant advantages for nationwide distribution in Germany. Meike Schmidt-Krenz, Managing Director of the Fiege Consumer Products business unit, says: “We have decades of experience in omnichannel fulfillment and specifically in dealing with consumer products of all kinds. Delivery and Installation of Large Appliances

Innovative products from Hisense Gorenje include flat-screen televisions, heat pumps, and electronic household appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines. Fiege will also take care of the professional delivery and setup of large appliances for end customers for the high-tech company. “Our modern location in Peine is perfectly suited for the omnichannel logistics of consumer goods. We are very pleased to have gained another renowned customer in the electronics sector with Hisense Gorenje,” explains Schmidt-Krenz.
