Job and Career are Topics at the Transport Logistic
Apr 15, 2025 at 3:41 PMEurope in Focus: Cargo Trans Logistik AG (CTL) highlights the successful development of its international relations at this year’s transport logistic. Through collaboration with 30 international partners in 30 European countries and 70 departures, 45 of which are daily, the freight cooperation from Homberg reaches the entire European area and enables its network partners to offer transport services in strategically important regions with attractive transit times and rates.
(Homburg) “The international trade fair transport logistic is the ideal environment to address the expansion of our international connections as a central component of our growth strategy,” says Abraham Garcia Martinez, CFO responsible for the internationalization strategy of CTL AG. Under the motto “Simplification through Standardization for Growth,” the international tariffs have been structured in a way that is understandable and uniform for sales over the past twelve months. The goal of the freight cooperation is to tap into new markets and thus generate competitive advantages for the network partners. Currently, CTL collaborates with 30 international partners, ensuring coverage of the entire European area with short transit times. Since December 2023, three new strategic partners have been onboarded: the Arcese Group from Italy, Waberer’s Network Kft. from Hungary, and SEITRANS SA from Spain. Earlier this year, the network welcomed Santos e Vale Internacional from Portugal as a new partner.
“The continuous internationalization of our business is a central goal for us to secure long-term growth and further strengthen our market position in times of intense competition,” says Francesco De Lauso, CEO of CTL AG. New partner onboardings for transport services in additional European regions are already in planning. Since April 7, a collaboration with Pallet-Track Ltd. from Wolverhampton near Birmingham has optimized connections to the United Kingdom. As a shareholder network with over 100 locations and four strategically located hubs, Pallet-Track is a partner on equal footing.
Benefit Optimization through Network Expansion
The increasing international capabilities of the freight cooperation benefit the 200 CTL partners. The optimal networking of international partners in their regions results in even more competitive transit times and rates for reliable and fast procurement and delivery transports to various parts of Europe. “Our aim is to create optimal conditions for our network partners.
Potential for Volume Growth
The intensification of our international connections opens up potential for volume growth as well as margin optimizations,” says Garcia Martinez. Thanks to additional departures, such as from the central hub in Homberg to Portugal and Hungary or from the west hub in Düsseldorf to Spain, transit times for cross-border transports to many important European target markets are reduced. Meanwhile, the international partners benefit from reliable access to the German market. “CTL has been in motion for over 30 years to respond flexibly to changing market demands – we will continue to maintain this adaptive approach in the future,” says De Lauso.
