Apr 8, 2025 at 8:00 AMThe Geis Group strategically realigns its Air + Sea Services business unit: Klaus Hrazdira, COO of Quehenberger Logistics, takes over the responsibility for the entire business unit across Europe with immediate effect – including all national companies as well as the subsidiaries General Transport and Quehenberger Logistics.
The restructuring follows the integration of Quehenberger Logistics into the Geis Group two years ago. Geis will now focus on centralized management of the entire business unit – another important step in the merging of both companies.
Experienced Manager in Key Position
Klaus Hrazdira
With Klaus Hrazdira, the Geis Group has secured an experienced top manager from its own leadership team for this central position. He has been COO at Quehenberger Logistics since 2013 and has previously held senior positions at renowned companies such as Expeditors, Thiel Logistik / Logwin, and HPL Hellmann Perishable Logistics. He will continue to perform his current role as COO of Quehenberger Logistics alongside his new responsibilities.
“With Klaus Hrazdira, we gain a recognized expert for the management of our Air + Sea Services business unit,” explain Hans-Wolfgang Geis and Jochen Geis, managing partners of the Geis Group. “His many years of experience and strategic know-how will be crucial in further strengthening our position in the international air and sea freight business.”
Utilizing Synergies, Optimizing Customer Service
The goal of the realignment is to optimally utilize the competencies and resources of both companies. “Through the close integration of Geis and Quehenberger, we can combine the strengths of both companies and offer our customers even better service – in the air, at sea, and also on the road,” emphasizes Klaus Hrazdira. Customers of the Geis Group will benefit from this development through consolidated expertise, more efficient processes, and innovative solutions for their international transports.
Future-Oriented Strategy for Sustainable Growth
“This change is a prime example of the merging of our corporate group,” conclude the managing partners. “We are convinced that with this realignment, we will further strengthen our position in the market.”
