Körber AG has appointed Veit Liemen as the CEO of the Competence Center Consulting. The former Chief Sales Officer will further expand the global business with SAP Supply Chain solutions. Veit Liemen has been active in Supply Chain IT since 1999, most recently as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Consulting in the Körber business unit Supply Chain, where he was globally responsible for strategy, marketing, sales, and the operational US business of the Competence Center Consulting. He has taken over the leadership of the Competence Center Consulting from Karl-Heinz Kern, who has retired, effective November 1, 2024.
(Hamburg) In his new role, Veit Liemen reports directly to Dr. Helena Garriga, who, as a member of the Körber AG Executive Board, is responsible for the Supply Chain business unit. “Veit Liemen successfully executed a software generation change at inconso AG, which was acquired by Körber in 2014, and has since significantly contributed to the continuous growth of our software business. We are very pleased to have gained such an experienced and highly ambitious colleague for this role, who masters both the SAP consulting business and our own software,” said Dr. Helena Garriga.
Seamless Digitalization Becoming Increasingly Important
Körber Supply Chain Consulting GmbH was established on January 1, 2022, as an independent company and Competence Center Consulting for the Körber business unit Supply Chain to address the growing importance of SAP Supply Chain solutions. “In light of the increasing complexity of supply chains, seamless digitalization is becoming increasingly important. Through SAP Supply Chain solutions and our own SAP-based add-ons, we provide our customers with the necessary transparency in the flow of goods and can implement integrated solutions in the Supply Chain business unit that also include conveyor technology and automation solutions,” said Veit Liemen in his assessment of market development and the Körber portfolio.
