Jan 23, 2025 at 8:03 PMUTA Edenred, one of the leading mobility service providers in Europe and part of the Edenred Group, and Daimler Truck have agreed to continue their successful partnership for the on-the-go supply of Mercedes-Benz Trucks. In particular, the offering for public charging will be made available to customers in additional countries.
(Kleinostheim) As part of the collaboration, UTA Edenred is issuing two Mercedes ServiceCard cards in UTA Edenred / Mercedes-Benz Trucks co-brand design for Mercedes ServiceCard GmbH & Co. KG:
The Mercedes ServiceCard charging card provides battery-electric Mercedes-Benz Trucks access to UTA Edenred’s rapidly growing international network for public charging, which currently includes around 300 truck-compatible charging stations in 28 countries, including the stations of the Milence fast charging network. The Mercedes ServiceCard charging card is currently available for customers in Germany, Austria, and France. In the coming months, the rollout for customers in Italy and Spain will take place, with more countries to follow.
With the Mercedes ServiceCard fuel card, Daimler Truck customers with their Mercedes-Benz Trucks gain access to the multi-brand fuel station network of the mobility service provider in Europe, which currently comprises over 68,000 stations in 37 countries.
Additional Mobility Services
Other mobility services such as toll processing in 27 countries, vehicle cleaning, parking booking, and ferry usage are also available with the cards in the UTA acceptance network. The two cards can also be used in the Mercedes-Benz Trucks workshop network for processing workshop services and 24-hour breakdown assistance.
“With the collaboration on the fuel and charging cards of the Mercedes ServiceCard, we are continuing the successful partnership between UTA Edenred and Daimler Truck in the area of fuel cards and mobility services that has existed for over 20 years,” says Pierre Jalady, General Manager of Edenred Mobility EMEA and CEO of UTA Edenred. “I am particularly pleased that we are also focusing on electromobility in this new step of our collaboration and thus jointly shaping the transformation of the transport sector.”
Proven Solution for Customers Remains in Place
“By continuing the cooperation with UTA Edenred, a proven solution for our customers remains in place. The fuel and charging cards are issued by UTA Edenred specifically for customers with Mercedes-Benz Trucks and continue to ensure their mobility across Europe in nearly 40 countries. Not only for refueling and tolls, but also in case of breakdowns and during workshop visits at the Mercedes-Benz Trucks service, the fuel or charging card provides a solution to get back on the road as quickly as possible without cash,” says Christian Velleuer, CEO of Mercedes ServiceCard GmbH & Co.
