Transport Industry: Four Predictions for 2025
Dec 1, 2024 at 11:41 AMThe Swiss commercial vehicle exhibition transport.ch, taking place from November 5 to 8, 2025, in Bern, has already recorded a pleasing number of registrations about a year before the event. The new “Cube” building of the exhibition center in Bern provides a smaller yet partially modern space. This allows the organizer to pursue a new direction and a redesigned accompanying digital platform.
(Bern) Demand continues to rise. “With over 50 registrations from exhibitors, we have already occupied 30% of the space,” explained Jean Daniel Goetschi, CEO of Expotrans AG, at the information event on November 21, 2024, in Bern, adding: “Given new interested parties and the reduced space due to the exhibition, it is not advisable to wait with the registration.” The company presented its expanded concept transport.ch to 80 interested exhibitors at Bernexpo, which will now rest on two pillars: fair and portal under transport.ch
A Name as a Central Brand
The transport.ch 2025, which will take place from November 5 to 8, 2025, with the support of industry associations as the 13th edition of the exhibition, will again appear as the industry meeting point under one name as a central brand. Additionally, its services will now also cover the 24 months between the exhibitions with its digital industry portal transport.ch. “The fourth industrial revolution affects us all,” Goetschi explained, “and we will collectively get the digital curve right.” With the registration, every exhibitor will now automatically receive their extended presence in the digital company directory from April 2025 to March 30, 2027, for which Expotrans AG offers assistance in creating and maintaining search engine optimized content. A marketplace for the industry, news, an event calendar, and current exhibition information complete the offering. The portal transport.ch, which is continuously being developed into the most widely used gateway for the entire industry, now provides exhibitors with additional and reliable continuity with the expanded digital counterpart to their physical presence at the exhibition.

Exhibitors Could Contribute to Improvements
In five workshops, both long-standing exhibitors and new interested parties, who had traveled from Liechtenstein, Germany, and Italy in addition to Switzerland, had the opportunity to present their wishes and suggestions for improving the exhibition process and the new concept transport.ch. A construction site tour through Bernexpo, including the newly designed “Festhalle,” the “Cube,” and the foyer, concluded an event that introduced the expanded profile of transport.ch 2025 to interested representatives of the industry a year before the next exhibition.
