Panattoni City Dock Hamburg Welcomes Two New Tenants

New Impulses at the Gates of Hamburg: With the City Dock Hamburg Norderstedt, Panattoni offers around 13,000 m² of small-scale commercial space for small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups, and established branch operators. From now on, the two new tenants Gate Gourmet GmbH Deutschland and EURA Drives GmbH will benefit from the modern, sustainably developed working environment in an urban location.

(Hamburg) The City Dock Hamburg Norderstedt, one of 15 City Docks across Germany, welcomed two new tenants in October and November. Among them is EURA Drives GmbH. The automation company will use 1,800 m² as its new headquarters for the storage, management, sales, and shipping of frequency converters and drive solutions for industrial applications.

The second new tenant, Gate Gourmet GmbH Deutschland, a leading provider of catering solutions for the aviation industry, will organize the efficient loading of aircraft with high-quality meals on 1,460 m². “In our new facility, we will particularly commission and package the loading of beverages and dry goods for our customers Emirates Airlines, Eurowings, Condor, Marabu, and other airlines,” says Max von Löwis of Menar, General Manager Region North at Gate Gourmet. “The infrastructure of the building and the location are particularly suitable to meet our additional capacity needs, which we can currently only serve to a limited extent in our central kitchen. This expansion addresses the dynamically growing airline market in Hamburg.”

A Hub for Sustainable Growth

Convenient Location near the A7

The City Dock Hamburg Norderstedt is characterized by its convenient location and excellent access to the A7 as well as public transport. The proximity to Hamburg’s city center, the airport, and the highways allows for short distances and quick access to important economic centers. With a total of 13,085 m² of usable space, the business park offers up to eight flexible, multifunctional commercial units starting from 1,000 m² of rental space in two buildings. The buildings were constructed according to the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and meet the highest ecological standards through energy-efficient technologies and sustainable materials. This includes, for example, a photovoltaic system on the roofs, energy-efficient LED lighting, as well as heating using VRF technology and an installed air-water heat pump.
