Denis de Farias Duarte Takes Over Cargo Development at Fraport

Starting January 1, 2025, Denis de Farias Duarte will take over the leadership of the Cargo Development team at Fraport AG, making him significantly responsible for the further development of the cargo business at Frankfurt Airport. Duarte succeeds Max Conrady, who held this position for about six years and is leaving the company at his own request.

(Frankfurt) “I am pleased that we have been able to attract Denis de Farias Duarte, a recognized professional from the cargo sector, for this position, who has more than 25 years of international experience in the air freight and logistics industry,” says Simone Schwab, Head of Aviation and Cargo Development at Fraport AG.

The native Brazilian Denis de Farias Duarte is 49 years old and has 25 years of experience in the air freight and logistics industry. He is moving internally from FCS Frankfurt Cargo Services GmbH. After graduating in Molecular Biology and Anthropology, he worked in various positions at Lufthansa Cargo, Qatar Airways, and Lufthansa Consulting. In April 2024, he joined FCS in Frankfurt as Senior Sales Manager.

Implementation of the Cargo Master Plan

The focus areas of the Cargo Development team at Fraport AG are the further development and implementation of the Cargo Master Plan for the digitization and optimization of freight processes, area growth, and location marketing in collaboration with partners at the Frankfurt site.
