Aug 6, 2024 at 3:14 PMSince early August 2024, LEAFR, a start-up of the Nagel Group, has been offering CO2-free delivery of temperature-controlled shipments for the metropolitan regions of Cologne and Düsseldorf. With its own fleet of fully electric vehicles, the young company delivers small shipments to various recipients from retail, gastronomy, or the hotel and catering sector.
(Hamburg/Langenfeld) Since its founding as a corporate venture of the Nagel Group in 2023, LEAFR has established emissions-free delivery of chilled goods in Hamburg.
“In Hamburg, LEAFR’s offering has been very well received, so it is now a good and important next step to offer the service in other metropolitan regions,” says Sören Loeck, Venture COO at LEAFR. “The Nagel Group is committed to sustainable logistics solutions. We feel this at LEAFR. Together, we will specifically expand these solutions.”
Close cooperation with the Nagel Group location in Langenfeld
LEAFR will closely cooperate with the Nagel Group location in Langenfeld to supply the metropolitan regions of Cologne and Düsseldorf. Shipments of up to 100 kilograms can be handled by LEAFR and delivered CO2-free. This provides LEAFR with a temperature-controlled solution for the green last mile in city logistics.
