Schauer Becomes New Partner for Clark in Austria
Apr 23, 2024 at 4:04 PMAt Mitsubishi Thermal Transport Europe GmbH (MTTE), all signs point to growth. Within just four years, the Osnabrück-based service provider for transport refrigeration units has doubled its workforce from around 25 to 50. At the same time, MTTE has doubled its revenue over the past three years. Additionally, Alexander Allgaier has been appointed as COO.
(Osnabrück) With the personnel expansion, MTTE is also enhancing its corporate structure and management level: the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be taken over by Alexander Allgaier (41). The native of Heilbronn has been with MTTE since 2022. He initially managed the sales area of Baden-Württemberg and later other regions in the southwest. “We are very pleased that with Alexander Allgaier, a competent colleague from our own ranks is taking on the demanding new COO role,” says MTTE Managing Director Björn Reckhorn. “Mr. Allgaier will now serve as the coordinator and interface between the various MTTE departments: Sales, Technology/Development, Order Processing, Workshop/Service, and After Sales. This will support our dynamic growth process in the German and European markets.”
As a joint venture of Mitsubishi and the refrigeration unit specialist HEIFO, MTTE is not only the general importer of Japanese Mitsubishi refrigeration systems but also a service provider for the entire European market. The company’s consistent electrification strategy is a key driver of growth, aiming to offer the market future-proof zero-emission solutions – for example, with the new fully electric refrigeration units TEK or TEJ for city logistics and regional distribution.
Technical Service and Sales Expansion
In addition to the management level, MTTE is also continuously expanding its technical service and sales. The goal is to be even closer to customers in the individual regions, both with service partners and with its own personnel. “This allows us to intensify active customer support, optimize processes and service at headquarters, and further expand mobile service in the field,” explains the new COO, Alexander Allgaier. For this purpose, MTTE has filled additional key positions with new personnel at the beginning of 2024.
