KION Achieves Good Results in 2023 Despite Decline in Demand
Feb 29, 2024 at 5:45 PMThe MOSOLF Group, one of the leading system service providers in the automotive industry in Europe, and APCOA, Europe’s leading parking space operator, announce their strategic partnership to strengthen logistics and delivery services in urban areas. As part of this cooperation, the MOSOLF Group will establish so-called hand-over zones at APCOA’s Urban Hubs locations for its customers. MOSOLF’s focus is on fleet and end customers.
(Kirchheim unter Teck) The collaboration between the MOSOLF Group and APCOA aims to support the agency model, direct sales, as well as the end customer interface and fleet management of MOSOLF. By utilizing APCOA’s existing infrastructure, the MOSOLF Group is building an efficient logistics and delivery network for manufacturers and fleets, bringing vehicle delivery closer to the end customer and user market. The first “hand-over zone” will be established at the “SI-Centrum” in Stuttgart.
The benefits of this partnership include, among other things, a pickup and return of new and used vehicles close to home and workplace, personalized solutions for vehicle users and fleet operators, as well as an increased presence of the MOSOLF Group in metropolitan areas.
New Usage Forms of the Urban Hubs
For APCOA, the cooperation with the MOSOLF Group opens up new usage forms of its Urban Hubs, which expand traditional parking space with mobility, logistics, e-charging, and technology-based services. By integrating logistics and delivery services, the range of services offered by the Urban Hubs is expanded to meet the growing demands for urban mobility.
“This partnership marks an important step for the MOSOLF Group to further expand our services in urban areas and offer our customers even better solutions,” says Dr. Jörg Mosolf, CEO of the MOSOLF Group. “Together with APCOA, we will explore new innovative paths and actively shape the mobility of the future.”
Long-term Expansion of Service Offerings for Logistics Partners
“Our goal of developing parking space into an urban interface with numerous service offerings around the automobile is significantly advanced by this strategic partnership,” explains Katrin Teichert, Managing Director of APCOA PARKING Deutschland GmbH. “We are pleased to be able to expand the service offerings for our parking customers, fleet users, and logistics partners in our parking garages in the long term together with MOSOLF.”
