Feb 27, 2024 at 2:06 PMThe CRAISS Generation Logistik GmbH & Co. KG provides its customers with extensive storage capacities across various industries: With 20,000 square meters of block storage space in Mühlacker and 25,000 shelf spaces in Karlsruhe, the transport company aims for optimal material flow conditions and enhanced value-added services. Proprietary warehouse management systems (WMS) manage all processes in both multi-user warehouses, ensuring high transparency and efficiency in logistical operations.
(Mühlacker/Karlsruhe) “With our multi-user warehouses at our main location in Mühlacker and the nearby location in Karlsruhe, we can not only respond to unstable supply chains and the consequently increasing storage needs but also offer our customers efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions with comprehensive value-added services,” says Jörg Schneider, Managing Director of Contract Logistics at CRAISS Generation Logistik GmbH & Co. KG.
CRAISS has equipped its warehouses with its own WMS, which controls and optimizes all storage processes. Thanks to its easy integration with existing customer systems, the WMS enables an automated, seamless flow of information in real-time. In the multi-user warehouses, the logistics service provider offers not only standard services such as goods receipt, storage, packaging, and shipping but also customized services like order picking, sequencing, kitting, inventory monitoring, and assembly activities.
Logistics Centers Have Good Transport Connections
“As a logistics service provider with over 90 years of experience, we know the industry, its demands, and the criteria for designing efficient delivery processes. We solve logistical challenges so that our customers can focus on their core business,” Schneider further explains. The multi-user logistics centers also have advantageous transport connections – Karlsruhe additionally offers proximity to the Rhine port and access to the rail network.
