Antje Göhler will continue to support him from our office in Dresden,” emphasizes Axel Mattern, Board Member of Hafen Hamburg Marketing.
Previously Worked in the Bundestag
In the past 20 years, the 49-year-old Fürtig has worked as a scientific advisor and as the office manager for Hamburg representatives in the German Bundestag. Here, he dealt with the Port of Hamburg and its hinterland traffic for many years. He also contributed to the overall concept of the Elbe. As the voluntary chairman of the association “Die Pfeffersäcke,” which includes Hamburgers working in Berlin, he has another close connection to the Hanseatic city.
