Logger ThoMar Enables Efficient Use of Desiccants

Whether in container transport or the long-term storage of goods packed in cardboard boxes, even the temperature fluctuations between day and night can be enough for humidity to repeatedly exceed a critical level. Mold, rust, and detached labels on goods, packaging, or packing materials are therefore regular damage patterns. In the case of sensitive food products, even changes in smell or taste can occur.

(Lütau) The desiccant specialists at ThoMar now offer the opportunity to assess potential risks in logistics projects – using the new quality assurance tool: the Data Logger 10TH. This device records temperature and humidity, for example, in freight containers or individual packages. After the recording ends, simply plug the logger into a USB slot on the computer and receive the report directly – quick and uncomplicated.

If the evaluation shows that important threshold values, for example for corrosion or mold formation, have been exceeded, ThoMar offers a simple yet effective solution for dehumidification.
