Telematics Provider YellowFox Celebrates 20th Anniversary

In 2003, YellowFox GmbH entered the market as a specialist in vehicle tracking. Alongside Managing Director Hendrik Scherf, a computer scientist, an office employee, and a sales representative were on board. 20 years later, it has evolved into a comprehensive telematics provider that develops and sells solutions ranging from order management to time tracking. This 20-year success story is celebrated with a special video clip.

(Wilsdruff OT Kesselsdorf) The focus is not on the company’s products, but on the “foxes”: Not only has the range of services expanded year by year, but the growth in personnel is also impressive: At the time of filming for the company anniversary, 100 plush foxes were used according to the number of employees; today, there are already 103.

YellowFox develops and markets its solutions independently. Customer service, support, and data center are also in-house. This ethos of doing it ourselves has been embraced by the company’s marketing team in the production of the anniversary clip, creating the entire project as a stop-motion film with loving craftsmanship.

Not only has the number of employees been steadily increasing for 20 years. The business figures have also only known one direction since the company’s founding: upwards. This trend continues in the anniversary year. YellowFox started with a record revenue in the first quarter. Meanwhile, the company’s telematics can be found in over 90,000 vehicles.

For the anniversary, YellowFox offers affordable promotions to attract new customers to the world of telematics with the yellow fox. The Yellow-All-In promotions combine the YellowTracker telematics hardware with the YellowFleetApp, which won the TelematikAward in 2022. With these packages, users have access to features such as vehicle tracking, fleet management, tachograph data management, driving style analysis, and consumption data analysis with CO2 emissions reporting. In another promotion, customers receive the solution module TachoArchiving in conjunction with the YellowTracker 320 at special conditions.
