The CARIT Automotive GmbH & Co. KG presents its HopOn® at the ninth SMART CITY LOGISTICS Congress in Jena. The fully electric delivery vehicle combines innovative technology and forward-looking solutions to meet the demands of sustainable urban logistics. Thus, the HopOn® fits perfectly into the concept of the congress taking place on July 18 and 19 at the Jena Volkshaus.
(Münster/Jena) Under the motto “SMART CITY LOGISTICS – Opportunities and Challenges of Electric Mobility Logistics,” the event offers a practical forum for researchers, vehicle developers, and practitioners. The focus is on sustainable logistics in the city as well as innovative vehicles and their use in the last mile.
“With the HopOn®, we offer a sustainable and efficient solution for the last mile that meets the demands of the modern urban environment. Therefore, we are very pleased to present our concept at the SMART CITY LOGISTICS Congress,” says Robert Grodde, Key Account Manager of CARIT Automotive GmbH & Co. KG.
The highly variable transport solution actively supports emission reduction in last-mile delivery with its small dimensions, a payload of 250 kilograms, and a range of up to 90 kilometers. In addition, the HopOn® is flexible and can be expanded with various features for a wide range of applications.
The SMART CITY LOGISTICS Congress brings together various stakeholders in the field of electric mobility and urban logistics in Germany. In addition to practical vehicle use, the focus is on new vehicle concepts, supporting technologies and software, as well as charging technology. For CARIT, according to Robert Grodde, this is the optimal setting to present their e-mobility solution: “The HopOn® is the result of our motivation, ideas, and visions. The congress provides us with a unique platform to learn about the current state and future developments in sustainable logistics and transportation.”
Furthermore, the CARIT team takes the opportunity to discuss current industry trends with high-ranking representatives from business, science, and politics, explore cooperation opportunities, and act as a source of inspiration. On July 18, Norbert Kerkhoff, Sales Manager of CARIT Automotive GmbH & Co. KG, will give a presentation at the congress in Jena about the HopOn® as an innovative electric lightweight vehicle for the last mile.
