The internationally operating transport company Emons, headquartered in Cologne, will automate and optimize local transport dispatch at more than 20 locations using Smartlane Transport Intelligence, a SaaS dispatch solution from the Munich-based company Smartlane GmbH.
At three Emons locations, the software is already successfully supporting pilot operations. The Emons freight forwarding company will use the SaaS solution Smartlane Transport Intelligence for local transport dispatch in the future. The integration of Smartlane Transport Intelligence into EuroMistral® was already completed in a previous pilot project, which significantly simplifies and accelerates the implementation at the 20 additional locations with a total local transport fleet of over 1,000 vehicles.
Exploiting Potential
“With the cross-location implementation of an expert solution specifically for dispatch, significant potentials are to be exploited, and the dispatch process is to be made more transparent and future-proof,” says Ralf Wieland, Managing Director/CEO of Emons.
