It’s almost time again: From May 9 to 12, 2023, transport logistic, the International Trade Fair for Logistics, Mobility, IT, and Supply Chain Management, will open its doors at the Munich exhibition center. A total of around 2,300 exhibitors from 67 countries (2019: 2,374 exhibitors from 63 countries) will present their services, products, and innovations on 127,000 square meters of space – spread across ten halls (B1 to B6, A3 to A6) as well as outdoor areas with track space. About 1,375 companies, which corresponds to 60 percent, come from abroad. This makes the event this year more international than ever in terms of exhibitors.
Federal Minister Opens the Fair
The transport logistic will be opened by Federal Minister of Transport Dr. Volker Wissing. This demonstrates the high importance of transport logistic on the political agenda – not least because of the topics discussed there, such as Brenner transit, infrastructure, or supply chain law, to name just three of the total 56 sessions in the conference program.
Campus Plaza Celebrates Premiere
In addition, this year also marks a premiere: The newly created Campus Plaza in Hall B2 offers a meeting point where established companies and start-ups can present themselves together. Focused on a specific topic, participants will meet experts daily and learn about the latest approaches in the areas of sustainability, alternative drives, start-ups, jobs, and careers. More information about the Campus Plaza can be found at https://transportlogistic.de/de/besucher/highlights/campus-plaza/
Another highlight is the joint stand of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). Under its umbrella, a total of 17 young and innovative companies from the fields of IT/telematics, e-business, or telecommunications will present their work in Hall A3.
The transport logistic also records a high level of participation from international pavilions once again. A total of 27 joint participations from around 20 countries offer smaller companies the opportunity to present themselves and their products to an international audience this year.
Fully Booked Again – air cargo Europe
A success story is and remains the world’s leading air freight fair air cargo Europe, which is also characterized by particularly high internationality. The exhibition integrated into transport logistic occupies around 14,000 square meters, namely the entire Hall B1 and – due to high demand – part of Hall B2.
