UTA Edenred organizes ‘Champ on the Road’ for Europe’s Truckers

UTA Edenred, one of the leading mobility service providers in Europe and part of the Edenred Group, announces the event series ‘Champ on the Road’ in 2023 in favor of professional drivers on Europe’s roads. In collaboration with companies from the UTA acceptance partner network, UTA Edenred will organize action days at selected gas stations in various countries throughout the year.

(Kleinostheim) On the action days ‘Champ on the Road’ by UTA Edenred, professional drivers will receive a free surprise in the form of useful equipment for everyday life on the road, practical accessories, or snacks and refreshments after refueling their vehicles.

The Champ on the Road events for 2023 are currently planned for Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Poland, Romania, Estonia, and Lithuania. With these action days, UTA Edenred aims to show appreciation and recognition to truckers on the road together with its partners and to bring them a little joy in their challenging everyday lives.

Further professionalizing the event series

“Commitment to professional drivers has always been a high priority for UTA Edenred,” says Lukas Schneider, Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer at UTA Edenred. “With the ‘UTA Champions Days’, we already held various events and actions in favor of truckers last year. Under the title ‘Champ on the Road’, we now want to further professionalize this event series and hold it on a larger scale. I am pleased that we have been able to engage numerous companies from our partner network for joint actions.”

With the Champ on the Road events, UTA Edenred is building on the ‘We care for you’ actions, during which the company distributed hygiene products, face masks, disinfectants, as well as snacks and meals to truckers at highway rest areas in various European countries during the COVID-19 pandemic to support them in this difficult time.
