If you want to be faster, it has to be simpler. Following this design principle, the software experts at Dortmund-based catkin GmbH have developed a new tool: the Railway Construction Site Management (BBM). It is now available to railway operators and features an optimized user interface (UI). The web solution is particularly helpful in light of the persistently high number of construction sites in the German rail network.
(Dortmund) With the Construction Site Management Tool (BBM), users have the opportunity to constantly keep track of construction site notifications (FPLOs and ZvFs) for railway freight transport companies. They can quickly and easily adjust their scheduling accordingly and reschedule train services. This saves time and money and increases safety. The status of the timetable orders is color-coded, making it clearly recognizable and transparent at all times. Detailed views can be accessed through quick filter functions. An address book is also integrated, automatically storing relevant contacts along with contact details from incoming notifications. The BBM tool can be used immediately as a modern web solution without installation, but can also be integrated into existing systems.
