Sep 27, 2022 at 4:55 PMThe Norwegian company Element Logic has developed a cloud-based data platform that collects, analyzes, and shares data streams from multiple sources in real-time. eLogiq, which aims to achieve self-optimizing warehouse automation, is based on Microsoft Azure technology.
(Norway) “Rapidly changing conditions require faster intralogistical response times. Access to decision-making aids in the form of data is essential to remain viable and profitable in a constantly changing market,” says Dag-Adler Blakseth, CEO of Element Logic.
eLogiq: A Competitive Edge
As a partner of Microsoft, Element Logic has leveraged the cloud-based Azure technology of the software giant. With eLogiq, data flows from multiple sources can be analyzed in real-time, providing companies with direct insights into what steps are necessary to optimize their specific warehouse.
“This new platform is a significant step towards enhancing warehouse performance. The utilization of helpful data opens doors to new opportunities, improvements, and growth. Companies that use the platform have a clear competitive advantage,” emphasizes Daniel Reime (Global Partner Solutions Lead, Microsoft Norway).
“With eLogiq, we can help our customers improve internal processes and increase their efficiency through faster, more reliable order processing,” says Sutharshan Nadarajah, CTO of Element Logic.
Data is Gold
Data is at the heart of developing new value-creating solutions. To remain competitive in a dynamic market, access to data from both internal and external sources is essential. It provides the necessary overview for quick, precise decision-making processes.
“In our customers’ warehouses, valuable data lies dormant. eLogiq collects and structures this data from multiple sources, including Element Logic’s other software solutions such as eManager, eOperator, and eController,” explains Nadarajah.
A Marathon, Not a Sprint
Element Logic has been optimizing warehouse systems since the 1980s, always focusing on developing software and automated solutions that enable companies to create, operate, and manage comprehensive warehouse concepts. These solutions continuously generate vast amounts of data, which are processed, analyzed, and prepared by the system to create a reliable basis for the decision-making process.
The eLogiq platform was specifically designed for this purpose: to collect, structure, and analyze data to utilize it through additional services or applications.
In the coming months and years, eLogiq will be expanded with a variety of new services and programs, from KPI-based dashboard solutions to an API solution that allows management systems to retrieve raw data from eLogiq. Furthermore, predictive analyses of goods flow and potential sources of error will be enabled, as well as a deeper exchange of warehouse data to document sustainability, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
“In the long run, our goal is to create an automated warehouse solution that continuously optimizes itself based on the collected values. This will free up time and resources elsewhere. Our digitization and process optimization solutions can be delivered as ready-to-use applications. This means our customers can focus on value creation and results without being distracted by the process,” explains the CTO.
“We will focus on developing new applications and services to expand the data platform. The smart availability and usability of data will support our customers in thriving in a market and a world that is constantly changing. eLogiq is a product that will continuously improve over the years. An exciting journey awaits us,” concludes Dag-Adler Blakseth.
