Aug 23, 2022 at 6:29 PMAt this year’s IAA in Hanover, Terberg Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH is showcasing its heavy-duty tractor RT283 alongside its latest generation of electric terminal tractors, the YT203-EV. Joining as a co-exhibitor is the innovative start-up Fernride, a partner for the future of automated driving. Since 2013, Terberg has been manufacturing 100% electric tractors.
(Hamburg) They are powerful, efficient, and versatile, as well as CO2-neutral and minimized in emissions regarding fine dust, vibrations, and noise. The special vehicle manufacturer Terberg has been offering its customers CO2 and NOx emission-free vehicles since 2013. This helps them meet environmental regulations and improve working conditions for drivers and employees.
As a pure electric terminal tractor, the YT203-EV is primarily used in ports and logistics to quickly and cost-effectively maneuver semi-trailers. The new EV tractor technology offers significant performance improvements, increased range, and the controlled temperature management of the battery allows for use in both cold and warm climates.
Drivers of Automation in Logistics
With regard to alternative drives, Terberg is pleased to welcome Fernride this year as a partner for the future of automated driving as a co-exhibitor. The Munich-based start-up is an innovator and driver of automation in logistics and will demonstrate teleoperated driving at the IAA.
For extreme requirements in the port
