Carousel Logistics, part of the DANX Carousel Group and specialist in time-critical logistics solutions, has established a new flight connection between Baden-Airpark and Dublin to ensure a high level of service and fast delivery times for its customers in Ireland even after Brexit. The service is now being expanded due to high demand.
(Kirchheim) Carousel Logistics, part of the DANX Carousel Group, has expanded its network between Baden-Airpark (FKB), Cologne (CGN), and Dublin (DUB) in response to the growing demand for air freight solutions. In summer 2021, a stopover in Cologne was introduced for the first time to support additional customers from the agricultural industry and the MedTech sector. Carousel has now announced that the flight connection from Cologne will be offered again this summer on five days a week (Monday to Friday).
Companies with European distribution centers in Germany, the Benelux countries, or northern France can take advantage of the new flight connection via Cologne, which offers late departure times, giving their customers more time to order spare parts. Customers can choose between a pure air freight solution or a complete end-to-end solution with flexible delivery options.
Value-Oriented Services
Lars Ryssel, Chief Solutions Officer of DANX Carousel, comments on the expansion of the network: “Our goal is to consistently provide value-oriented services that meet and exceed our customers’ requirements. The establishment of an additional stop in Cologne is a good example of how we invest in our network to meet market demands. By expanding this service to a five-day operation per week this summer, we can not only better meet the needs of our customers in a post-Brexit world but also respond flexibly to changing requirements.”
