
MAN Integrates Sustainability into Corporate Strategy for the First Time

Jul 21, 2022 at 6:23 PMFour trainees from Alfred Schuon GmbH were honored by the Association of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Baden-Württemberg e.V. (VSL) for their outstanding performance in their final exams. During the annual general meeting, Maren Kalmbach (Commercial Clerk for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services), Sarah Stübich, Lisa Schwenk (Commercial Clerks for Office Management), and Felix Frank (B.A. Business Administration – Freight Forwarding, Transport, and Logistics) were recognized.
“These awards are well-deserved by our four top graduates. Good work and diligence should be rewarded. We greatly appreciate their commitment and achievements,” says Heike Kreidler, Training Manager at Alfred Schuon GmbH. The young talents were honored by the Association of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Baden-Württemberg e.V. for their excellent exam results. “Our industry is undergoing change. With a modern and competent training program, Schuon offers young people excellent career prospects,” Kreidler adds.
All Honorees Remain Loyal to Schuon
The award ceremony was part of the VSL’s annual general meeting, which took place in person for the first time again. “We congratulate our trainees and are pleased that they could receive this individual recognition on a big stage again,” summarizes Kreidler. Their protégés were accompanied by Managing Director Theo Schuon and Rolf Berkowitz, Commercial Director. The training manager is particularly proud that all four graduates will remain loyal to Schuon. “A future-oriented industry and good job prospects are crucial for many young people. Schuon offers both,” says Kreidler.

New Trainees Are Already Being Sought
For the upcoming year, the logistics service provider from Haiterbach is already looking for motivated new trainees. The training offerings include commercial as well as industrial and technical professions. A dual study program is also possible.
