Shopping Platform XSTAFF Strengthens Logistics Network in Poland

Despite the Ukraine crisis, XSTAFF GmbH continues to focus on growth: With the conclusion of a cooperation agreement with the Polish logistics service provider PST OST SPED SP. Z O.O., the shopping platform, which already includes more than 40 internationally active companies from industry and trade, is expanding its global network and sending an important strategic signal for the future.

(Düsseldorf) Since September 2020, XSTAFF has been active with its own location in Katowice, Poland. With the new partnership, the association not only strengthens its presence in one of the fastest-growing economies in Europe but also enables its members to have unrestricted access to the comprehensive service and service portfolio of PST OST SPED. This strategic alignment ultimately meets the needs of many XSTAFF members, says Sebastian Gastecki, Managing Director XSTAFF Poland: “Our members are increasingly requesting logistical on-site services from us that allow them to target locations not only in Poland but also in other countries in Eastern and Southeastern Europe. We can now fulfill this request even better thanks to the cooperation with PST OST SPED.”

Comprehensive Service Portfolio

Originally founded as a customs agency, the Polish company has developed into a significant logistics provider in the domestic market over three decades. At its five locations in Poznan, Kalisz (container terminal), Wroclaw (Breslau), Gliwice (Gleiwitz), and Gdansk (Danzig), PST OST SPED SP. Z O.O. offers its domestic and foreign customers services in the segments of land transport, intermodal transport, special transport, warehousing and storage logistics, as well as distribution logistics, both in national and international traffic. Over 100 trucks and trailers, along with a storage area of more than 50,000 square meters, ensure that even large order volumes can be processed without any issues.

However, the smooth processing of orders is not the only reason why companies choose PST OST SPED as their logistics partner, explains Mariusz Kąkol, Chairman of the Board of PST OST SPED SP. Z O.O.: “Today, customers want not only fast and smooth processing but also place great importance on quality and safety. That is why we also emphasize excellent quality management.”

Despite Uncertainty, Development in Eastern Europe

A business orientation that aligns 100 percent with XSTAFF’s philosophy. For this reason, Bodo Knop, Chairman of the Management Board of XSTAFF GmbH, looks optimistically to the future despite the current uncertainty about how the situation in Eastern Europe will develop: “The demand for logistics know-how and expertise will remain high in many Eastern and Southeastern European countries. Therefore, it is important to strengthen our network today, as this is the only way we can successfully tackle the challenges of tomorrow.”
